Caro signor Mitsotakis,
Vorrei congratularmi vivamente con lei per la sua nomina a Primo Ministro della Grecia.
Sono fiducioso che la Grecia continuerà a svolgere un ruolo costruttivo all’interno dell’Unione europea, contribuendo ad affrontare le varie sfide comuni, come il difficile contesto geopolitico, l’immigrazione illegale, i cambiamenti climatici e, ultimo ma non meno importante, la modernizzazione delle nostre economie.
Non vedo l’ora di darvi il benvenuto al Consiglio europeo, e confido che darete un contributo eccellente al suo lavoro.

I would like to warmly congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of Greece.
I am confident that Greece will continue to play a constructive role within the European Union, helping to address the various common challenges, such as the difficult geopolitical environment, illegal migration, climate change, and – last but not least – modernising our economies.
